Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® program adds ally Wallner Builders. Clients of Wallner Builders have commissioned us to replace windows and other energy-saving features to take advantage of the Federal Energy Tax Credit under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009. Under the Act, owners can deduct up to 30% of the cost of energy-saving measures installed, including high-efficiency furnaces and water heaters, new windows and/or doors, added insulation, air-sealing and more. Clients are scheduling Energy Audits in order to also take advantage of cash rewards (in addition to the Fed. Tax credit) through Wisconsin’s Focus on Energy.

A Brookfield, WI client’s home featured in the annual MBA’s 2009 Fall Remodelers’ Tour. The Brookfield couple welcomed attendees of the MBA’s Fall Remodelers Tour to their home where several projects have been completed as part of a larger-scale remodel: A Kitchen computer desk area (in a closet), an Exercise Room, Kitchen remodel/addition, Bathroom remodel (two), and a Sunroom/Reading Room addition.
Wallner Builders features two Wauwatosa projects in the MBA’s 2008 Fall Remodelers’ Tour. Projects include a 2-Story Addition and a Kitchen and Bath remodel.
